I met Melanie at the beginning of the year when I was needing assistance for my 19 year old daughter who has autism. Melanie has been such a wonderful support and I feel so blessed and grateful to have found her. She is truly invested in Sophia's well-being and brings joy everyday she is with her. Sophie is not very verbal and required a lot of patience and understanding. Melanie, who has so many years of experience, is so in turn when Sophia has had an "off" afternoon and is so understanding of her needs and shows great sensitivity to her feelings. Knowledgeable support workers who are this caring and understanding are so hard to find. I feel so fortunate to have found Melanie and have her on our team. 

 Melanie has a fun, loving, knowledgeable, resourceful, and compassionate approach in everything she does. Her non judgmental nature, makes you feel at ease. You’re sure to have some good laughs with her, while accomplishing your goals.

 At a young age, my daughter Annemarie was diagnosed to be on the Autism Spectrum, ADHD, and BPD.
During my daughter's progression thru junior and high school, AnneMarie had a very difficult time interacting with her peers and general adjustment to academic and social issues. After talking with school counselor, the name Melanie Cousins was recommended as her background in the field of one on one was what I was pursuing.
Contacted Melanie and set up an meeting time with myself and AnneMarie.
Annemarie and Melanie bonded almost immediately.
Over the 5 years, she worked with Annemarie..areas of concerns were to address challenging behavior, social cues and interactions.
